The District Adivasi Welfare Association has lodged a complaint against MLA Laxman Bag at the Titilagarh police station, accusing him of making objectionable comments about tribals during a program aired on a private television channel. According to the complaint, the MLA allegedly referred to tribals as “polluted” or “impure,” remarks that have sparked outrage among members of the tribal community. The association strongly condemned the statement, calling it offensive and derogatory. Members of the association staged a protest outside the police station, raising slogans against the MLA and demanding that a case be registered and legal action initiated against him. They have also sought his arrest.
