Talcher MLA's Vehicles Set Ablaze

Bhubaneswar: The vehicles of Talcher MLA Braja Kishor Pradhan have been set ablaze by miscreants last night at his MLA Colony residence. Tension gripped in the area following the incident. A case has been registered in Capital Police station and the investigation is on. 

According to sources, the incident took place at about 1.30pm last night.MLA was not present in his residence at that time.But three of his constituents and his PSO were in the residence. When the noise was heard, the insiders wanted to come out. The miscreants had locked the door outside.

The insiders managed to come out of the residence breaking a back door. When they reached at the spot, two four wheelers (one fortuner and one innova), two bikes and one bicycle had been gutted. Some local people also reached there. But everything was lost. It is suspected that It was the handywork of antisocials. This incident has put commisssionerate police in an embarassing position.Because the VIP areas particularly the Unit-4 MLA colony is not safe.Criminals are throwing challenge to Police day by day. Exact cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained.
