Asit Tripathy Takes Charge As Chief Secretary

Bhubaneswar : Senior bureaucrat  Asit Tripathy today took charge as the Chief Secretary of Odisha. The 1986-batch IAS officer had held many important positions  in the government. He was in the rank of additional Chief Secretary. Today he elevated to the post of Chief Secretary of the state. He took the new charge as his predecessor Aditya Prasad Padhi became the Election Commissioner of Odisha.

The new Chief Secretary of Odisha Mr Tripathy said that his priority would be on 5Ts,employment generation, development in  industry and infrastructure. He will try to make progress in every sector in the state. His native place is Bolangir. He has done his Master's Degree in Potitical Science, M phil and LLB. He is known as a hard working bureaucrat of the state.
