Virat Kohli enjoys time with Sunil Chhetri at RCB training: Was fun to have you around yesterday skip

Not often will you see the captains of two different sports chill together but in India, anything can happen and the bonding between India's cricket and football captains is something to die for.

Virat Kohli and Sunil Chhetri are great friends and the mutual respect between the two is well documented. From having meals together to taking inspiration from one another, Kohli and Chhetri have always been all praise for each other and their game. And, on Tuesday, Kohli invited Chhetri to speak to the boys at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and motivate them ahead of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League. The Indian cricket team captain also acknowledged Chhetri's presence and thanked him on Twitter.Chhetri is as popular as Kohli one would say in Bengaluru because of his association with Bengaluru FC. The 34-year-old is with the club since 2013 and scored 50 goals. Under his leadership, BFC won the ISL 2018-19 earlier this week and also reached the final of the AFC Cup in 2016 but lot to Iraqi outfit Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in the final.
And, Kohli would like to believe that much like football, it will be Bengaluru's year in cricket as well.RCB have never won the IPL since the inception of the tournament in 2008. Their best finish were in 2009 and 2016 when they reached the final. This year Kohli would like it to be different as it is a test not only of his captaincy but also the momentum going forward to the World Cup, which starts on May 30 in England and Wales.RCB will open their campaign against Chennai Super Kings on March 23 at the Chepauk.
