4 Maoists killed in Malkangiri

Malkangiri : In a major breakthrough, four hardcore Maoists were killed in a gun battle between members of the outlawed group and the security personnel at Similipadar jungle in cutoff Chitrakonda area in Malkangiri district early this morning. 
The slain rebels include top Maoist leader RK, according to reports.
The exchange of fire was still going on the bordering jungle. The Special Operation Group of Odisha police and Andhra Pradesh Gray Hunter were conducting combing operation when Naxilites fired at them all of a sudden. The security personnel retaliated soon and killed four of the Maoists.
