Odisha Assembly adjourned till 11.30 am over Shreemandir ritual irregularities

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly was on Tuesday adjourned till 11.30 am as Opposition Congress and BJP members protested against disturbances in conduct of rituals in the Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri in the Well of the House.
As the House met for the day, Opposition members trouped into the Well of the House and shouted slogans, 'Jagannath mandirarel niti bibhrat pain dayi kie, Naveen sarker aau lie? '
As they didn't relent from sloganeering despite Speaker Pradeep Kumar Amat's requests, the latter adjourned the House at 10.31 am till 11.30 am.
