Odia cine director Nagen Ray passes away

Bhubaneswar: Noted Odia cinema director Nagen Ray passed away at his residence in Shastri Nagar area in Cuttack early this morning. He was 82.

According to reports, he directed the Odia film, 'Gapa Hele Bi Sata'. 

However, he chose to direct movie 'Tapasya', which got released in 1980 and was Ray's last film as director.

He had been ailing for some time now. All of his family members were present at his death bed.
